India-first tech. Spec-checked. Tue, 25 Aug, 2026 · IST

We read the spec sheet so you don't get played by it.

Nerdspec is independent tech journalism for India. We buy what we review, we benchmark on our own rigs in real Indian conditions, and we re-score products when prices move. No loaner units with strings attached. No scores for sale.

How we work

01

We buy our review units

Retail units, our money, no embargoed cherry-picked samples. When a brand loans hardware, we say so at the top of the review.

02

India is the test bench

34°C ambient thermals, Jio and Airtel dual-5G, UPI support, real service-centre coverage. A phone that only works in a lab review doesn't work here.

03

Scores follow prices

A 9/10 at launch can be a 7/10 after a competitor's price cut. We re-test and re-score guides every month — the date is always on the page.
