8000 mAh Battery Mobile in India (2026): 4 Top Picks

Four phones that genuinely ship with an 8,000mAh cell in India under ₹30,000, with every capacity checked against the maker's own spec page where one exists and the one exception named, and every price checked on 19 October 2026. Nerdspec did not test them.

A dark Nerdspec buying guide title card reading 8000 mAh Battery Mobile, with a subtitle naming the Redmi Note 17 5G as the winner alongside POCO, realme and OnePlus picks priced 19 October 2026.

The best 8000 mAh battery mobile you can buy in India today is the Redmi Note 17 5G at ₹27,899 for the 6GB/128GB Arctic Blue on Flipkart, listed 'Only few left', because Xiaomi's own spec page backs the 8,000mAh figure and pairs it with a 1080p AMOLED screen, IP65 and a four year OS update promise. The POCO M8 Power 5G has almost the same hardware for ₹22,238 on Amazon.in, ₹5,661 less. The realme NARZO 100X 5G is the cheapest 8,000mAh phone at 6GB/128GB, at ₹22,127 in Flash Orange on Flipkart, listed 'Only few left', and the OnePlus N6 is the pick for OnePlus software at ₹22,494, also listed 'Only few left'. Every price here was checked on 19 October 2026.

Nerdspec did not test these phones. This guide works from each maker's own spec page, live Amazon.in and Flipkart listings, the makers' own stores where they have one, and cited launch coverage. Prices are the listed price with no bank card offer and no exchange credit applied, which matters in this category: Flipkart prints a struck-through ₹54,999, '54% off' and 'Upto ₹19,600 Off on Exchange' on an M8 Power that actually costs ₹24,999 there. Store links here may earn Nerdspec a commission, and that did not set the order.

We checked the capacity of every phone we rank against the maker's own spec page wherever one exists, and we name the one pick where none does. That changed the shortlist: one phone the price-list pages file under 8,000mAh is 6,000mAh on its own retailer listing, and one widely reported at 9,020mAh is 7,050mAh on its maker's page.

8000 mAh battery mobile: the four picks at a glance

  • Best overall: Redmi Note 17 5G, ₹27,899 (6GB/128GB Arctic Blue, Flipkart, listed 'Only few left'; ₹27,999 on Amazon.in and Xiaomi's own store). Xiaomi states 8000mAh (typ). The 8GB/128GB starts at ₹30,788, over our ₹30,000 cap, so only the 6GB variant is ranked.
  • Best value: POCO M8 Power 5G, ₹22,238 (6GB/128GB Green, Amazon.in, in stock; ₹24,999 on Flipkart). Same chip and same size AMOLED as the Note 17 for ₹5,661 less. Caveat: POCO runs no India product site, so its 8,000mAh figure comes from the Amazon.in and Flipkart listings, not a maker spec page.
  • Cheapest at 6GB/128GB: realme NARZO 100X 5G, ₹22,127 (Flash Orange, Flipkart, listed 'Only few left'). realme publishes 8000mAh typical and 7780mAh rated, plus IP65 and MIL-STD-810H. The screen is a 720p LCD.
  • For OnePlus software: OnePlus N6, ₹22,494 (4GB/128GB Fresh Mint, Flipkart, listed 'Only few left'). OnePlus publishes 8,000mAh typical and 7780mAh rated. It is no longer the cheap way in: the NARZO 4GB/128GB is ₹2,719 less.

All four are 45W phones, and all four sit under ₹30,000 in the variant we name. None is a 9,000mAh phone; the section further down says which are, including one under ₹30,000.

Best overall: Redmi Note 17 5G

Buy the Note 17 at ₹27,899 if you want an 8,000mAh phone you will still enjoy looking at in two years. That is the 6GB/128GB Arctic Blue on Flipkart, listed 'Only few left'. Starlight Purple is ₹33 less at ₹27,866 and Dark Night is ₹27,918, both also listed 'Only few left'. Amazon.in and Xiaomi's own store charge ₹27,999 for all three colours, in stock. Checked 19 October 2026.

Xiaomi's India spec page lists the cell as '8000mAh (typ) High Density Si/C' with a Surge G1 battery management chip, 45W wired charging, 22.5W wired reverse charging and a 45W charger in the box. The screen is the reason to pay the premium: 17.75cm TrueColour AMOLED, 2396 by 1080, up to 120Hz, 1800 nits peak. Under it sits a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 on a 4nm process, octa-core up to 2.3GHz.

Xiaomi also commits to four years of OS updates and six years of security patches on HyperOS 3, the kind of detail that decides a phone three years in rather than three days in. The body is 169.70 by 79.14 by 8.4mm at 225 g, with Gorilla Glass 7i, IP65, a microSD slot and an IR blaster.

Two things to know before you click buy. The 8GB/128GB Note 17 runs ₹30,788 to ₹30,849 on Flipkart depending on colour and ₹30,999 on Xiaomi's store, ₹788 or more past this guide's cap, so it is excluded from the ranking rather than recommended as an upgrade. And the ₹24,999 figure in the launch coverage was a ₹3,000 instant discount on SBI, Axis and Kotak credit cards, not the price.

Best value: POCO M8 Power 5G

The M8 Power at ₹22,238 gets you the same chip and the same size AMOLED as our winner for ₹5,661 less. That is the 6GB/128GB Green on Amazon.in, in stock. Black is ₹22,349 and Blaze Orange ₹22,700 there. Flipkart charges ₹24,999 for any of the three colours and ₹27,999 for 8GB/128GB. Checked 19 October 2026.

Both retailers state the capacity: Amazon.in in its feature bullets ('Massive 8000mAh Battery') and spec table ('8000 Milliamp Hours'), Flipkart as an '8000 mAh Lithium-Ion Polymer Battery' alongside a 17.75 cm (6.99 inch) Full HD+ AMOLED and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. POCO's launch material, as reported by FoneArena and MySmartPrice in August 2026, adds 2396 by 1080, 120Hz, 1800 nits peak, 45W charging with the charger included and 22.5W reverse wired charging. On paper that is the Note 17 with a different logo.

The catch is sourcing, not hardware. POCO runs no India product site: po.co/in redirects to POCO Global's 404 page, and mi.com's India store has no M8 Power page. So this is the one pick whose 8,000mAh rests on retailer listings and launch coverage rather than a maker spec sheet. Two retailers agreeing is better than one, but neither is POCO. The weight and thickness in our spec sheet are Amazon.in's listing fields, 220 g and 0.8 cm, and neither retailer gives an IP rating.

If a phone's whole pitch is a number, the number should be on the maker's own page. For three of these four it is. For the fourth you are trusting two retailers, and you should know which is which before you spend ₹22,238.

Cheapest 8,000mAh phone at 6GB/128GB: realme NARZO 100X 5G

The NARZO is ₹22,127 for the 6GB/128GB Flash Orange on Flipkart, listed 'Only few left', the lowest price we found for an 8,000mAh phone at that memory tier. Midnight Black is ₹22,526 there. Amazon.in and realme's own store both charge ₹25,999 for either colour, in stock. Checked 19 October 2026.

realme's India spec page lists the cell as 'Single cell 7780mAh/30.50Wh (Rated), 8000mAh/31.36Wh (Typical)', the only maker page among our picks to give watt-hours, with SUPERVOOC 45W, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and a Mali-G57 MC2 at 1072MHz. The body is 16.64 by 7.82 by 0.88 cm at about 224 g with Panda-1681 cover glass, and the same page claims IP65 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H shock certification. realme lists four memory configurations: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB. The 4GB/128GB is ₹19,775 on Flipkart in either colour, also 'Only few left', which makes it the cheapest 5G phone with an 8,000mAh cell we found. realme's store wants ₹20,999 for the 4GB/64GB, so the smaller-storage model costs ₹1,224 more; skip it.

The compromise is the screen. realme lists a 17.30 cm LCD at HD+ 1570 by 720, 254 PPI, 975 nits normal and 1200 nits in high brightness mode. It tops out at 144Hz, higher than any other pick, but a 144Hz 720p LCD is a different experience from a 120Hz 1080p AMOLED, which the M8 Power sells for ₹111 more. If you will live with the panel, you save ₹5,772 against our winner.

One trap specific to this phone. realme also sells the P4R 5G, and realme's two India spec pages carry the same figures on every row we compared, cell, chip, screen, weight and memory configurations included. On 19 October the NARZO was the cheaper twin in both tiers we compared. At 6GB/128GB the P4R is ₹25,999 on Flipkart and realme's store in any of its three colours, and ₹23,820 for Lavender Glare on Amazon.in, ₹1,693 over the NARZO. At 4GB/128GB it is ₹22,999 on Flipkart but ₹20,199 on Amazon.in in Silver Glare or Titanium Glare, ₹424 over the NARZO. Buy whichever twin is cheaper in the tier you want.

For OnePlus software: OnePlus N6

The N6 is ₹22,494 for the 4GB/128GB Fresh Mint on Flipkart, listed 'Only few left', and it is no longer the cheap way into this class. Midnight Green in the same configuration is ₹606 more at ₹23,100, and Amazon.in and OnePlus's own store charge ₹23,499 for either colour. The NARZO 4GB/128GB is ₹2,719 less on Flipkart, the P4R 4GB/128GB ₹2,295 less on Amazon.in (though ₹505 more on Flipkart), and the M8 Power with 6GB and an AMOLED ₹256 less on Amazon.in. Checked 19 October 2026.

OnePlus is explicit about the capacity in a way that is worth quoting: 'The OnePlus N6's battery has an equivalent capacity of 8,000 mAh (typical) / 7780 mAh (rated).' The spec table adds 45W SUPERVOOC, 5W reverse charging over wire only and bypass charging, and the product page claims 47 minutes from 1 percent to 50 percent. The chip is a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex, the configurations are 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB, and the In the Box list reads phone, charger, USB data cable, SIM ejector tool, protective case and quick guide.

What the extra money buys is OnePlus's software and paperwork: OxygenOS 16.0 on Android 16, a 13280 mm² heat dissipation area, and a '60 Months Smoothness (6GB)' claim that covers the 6GB model, which is ₹24,999 in either colour on Amazon.in and OnePlus's store, not the 4GB one priced here. OnePlus lists IP65 and MIL-STD-810H, but realme's pages claim the same two for the cheaper NARZO and P4R, so durability is not a reason to pay more. The screen is a 17.30 cm LCD at HD+ 1570 by 720 and 254 PPI, topping out at 120Hz, in a 224 g, 8.88mm body.

Other 8,000mAh phones under ₹30,000, and why they are not ranked

The sourcing rule is the same for every phone here: the maker's spec page where one exists, named retailer listings where it does not. Besides the P4R twin, two more phones pass it under ₹30,000, and neither is ranked, for reasons unrelated to sourcing.

  • Tecno Pova 8 5G, ₹29,999 (6GB/128GB in 16 Bit White or Terminal Green, Flipkart, in stock; we found no Amazon.in listing). Tecno's India pages redirect to its global home page, but its global spec page states an '8000mAh Battery' with '45W Super Charge', and Flipkart's listing agrees on 8000 mAh. It is the only phone in this group on a MediaTek Dimensity 7-series chip, the Dimensity 7100, with a 6.76 inch 2344 by 1080 screen at up to 144Hz (an IPS LCD, per Flipkart) and a 225 g body. It costs ₹2,100 more than the Note 17 and gives up the AMOLED, so it is not ranked, but if the chip matters more to you than the screen, look at it.
  • realme C100x, ₹17,999 (4GB/64GB, Flipkart, Amazon.in and realme's store, in stock). realme's page lists 8000mAh typical and 7780mAh rated with 45W charging, IP64 and MIL-STD-810H, which makes it the cheapest 8,000mAh phone we found. It is also 4G only, '5G not supported' in realme's words, so it is not ranked against four 5G phones.

Phones that say 8,000mAh and are not, and one that is not 9,020mAh

This guide is shorter than the price-list pages above it in search results because we opened the maker's page or the listing for each candidate. Several did not survive. Their lists are built by filter, the filters run on supplied spec fields, and a wrong field propagates.

  • iQOO Z11 5G. Reported at 9,020mAh across aggregator and comparison pages, including the independent editorial result at position six for this query. iQOO's own India page says otherwise, twice: the headline reads '7050 mAh BlueVolt Battery & Fast Charging Mode', and the footnote reads 'The typical battery capacity is 7050 mAh; the rated battery capacity is 6850 mAh', with 44W FlashCharge. That is 1,970mAh less than the figure in circulation. Every in-stock Z11 listing we found on Flipkart shows 7050 mAh; the one that prints 9020 mAh is a 12GB/256GB listing marked 'Currently unavailable', which also lists a 90W adapter against iQOO's 44W. The Z11 is not in this guide.
  • Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G. Appears inside an aggregator's '8000 mAh and above' filter. Flipkart's own listing states a 6000 mAh Li-ion battery.
  • OnePlus N6X and OnePlus N6 Lite. Both 7000 mAh on their Flipkart listings. The names sit one word away from the phone you want, and the N6X at ₹18,850 to ₹20,529 undercuts the N6, which is how the wrong one ends up in a cart.
  • Redmi 17 5G and POCO M8x 5G. Both 7900 mAh on their Flipkart listings. Close, not 8,000.
  • Genuinely 8,000mAh, but over the cap. The OnePlus Nord CE6 at ₹36,004 to ₹40,370, the realme P4s 5G from ₹34,999 and the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G from ₹31,999, all 8000 mAh on their Flipkart listings.

Three OPPO phones that went on sale this month are real 8,000mAh phones too, all above the cap. OPPO's F35 5G page states '8000 mAh/31.36 Wh(Typical) 7820 mAh/30.66 Wh(Rated)' with a Dimensity 6360 MAX; its F35 Pro 5G page states '8000 mAh/31.36 Wh(Typical) 7780 mAh/30.50 Wh(Rated)' with a Dimensity 7360 MAX and a 144Hz AMOLED. Both charge at 80W and cost ₹38,999 and ₹45,999 for 6GB/128GB on Flipkart and OPPO's own store. The K14 Plus 5G, on sale from 8 October according to TelecomTalk, lists the same 8000 mAh and 7780 mAh figures on OPPO's page with 45W charging, at ₹32,499 for the 6GB/128GB Solar Orange on Amazon.in, listed 'Only 2 left in stock', and ₹32,999 on Flipkart and OPPO's store.

Is 8,000mAh still the biggest? 9,000mAh and 10,000mAh in India

No, and a bigger cell can still fit under our cap. Flipkart lists the POCO X8 5G with a '9000 mAh Lithium-Ion Polymer Battery' at ₹29,999 for 6GB/128GB in three colours, ₹2,100 more than our winner and just inside our cap. It is not ranked because it is not an 8,000mAh phone and POCO has no India spec page to check the figure against, but if you want the biggest battery we found under ₹30,000 rather than exactly 8,000mAh, look at it first.

The best documented bigger cells are in the winner's own family. Xiaomi's India spec pages list the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G with '9000mAh (typ) Silicon-Carbon Battery Si/C' and 67W charging, and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G with '10000mAh (typ) Silicon-Carbon Battery' and 100W HyperCharge, 25 percent more capacity than anything in our ranking. Those cost more: the Note 17 Pro 8GB/128GB is ₹37,999 to ₹38,908 on Flipkart depending on colour, and the only Pro Max listing we found in stock there is a 12GB/256GB at ₹74,999, listed 'Only 1 left'; the other five are 'Currently unavailable'.

Flipkart also lists the POCO X8 Power 5G at 10000 mAh from ₹35,999 for 8GB/128GB, ₹5,999 over the cap, the vivo T5 Pro 5G at 9020 mAh from ₹36,999 and the OnePlus Nord 6 at 9000 mAh from ₹46,720; those three figures are Flipkart's. vivo's India product page carried no battery figure in the page source we fetched on 19 October, so we have not checked that one against vivo.

What an 8,000mAh battery does not tell you: charging, weight and screen

Typical is not rated. realme and OnePlus both state 8000mAh typical against 7780mAh rated, a gap of 220mAh, or about 2.8 percent: typical is the average cell off the line, rated the conservative floor. Xiaomi's Note 17 page lists only '8000mAh (typ)'. When a listing shows a round number with no qualifier, it is quoting the typical figure.

Charging speed is where this class is thin. All four picks charge at 45W. Xiaomi ('Includes 45W Charger'), realme ('Charger x 1') and OnePlus ('Charger') each list a charger in the box on their own pages; the M8 Power's in-box charger comes from launch coverage, not from POCO. Look up the range and 45W is modest: the Note 17 Pro is 67W, the Pro Max 100W and OPPO's F35 pair 80W. A bigger cell at the same wattage takes longer to fill, so 8,000mAh at 45W suits overnight charging better than a quick top-up.

Weight is the tax. realme states about 224 g for the NARZO, OnePlus 224 g for the N6 and Xiaomi 225 g for the Note 17. The three makers that publish a weight are within one gram of each other, so there is no light option among them; Amazon.in's listing gives the M8 Power 220 g, a figure POCO has not published. You will notice it in a shirt pocket.

The screen decides the daily experience. The two Xiaomi-group phones give you 1080p AMOLED at 120Hz and 1800 nits; the realme and the OnePlus give you 720p LCD at 254 PPI and 1200 nits in high brightness mode. On 19 October that split cost almost nothing at the bottom: the M8 Power's AMOLED was ₹111 more than the NARZO at 6GB/128GB and ₹256 less than the N6 at 4GB/128GB, which makes it the screen bargain here.

How we checked these prices and what could change

Every price was read on 19 October 2026 from a live Amazon.in product page, a live Flipkart product or search page, or the maker's own store, with stock read from the same page, and is quoted with no bank offer and no exchange credit applied. The makers' own stores never beat the lowest Flipkart or Amazon.in price for the phones we checked there: Xiaomi's for the Note 17, OnePlus's for the N6, realme's for the NARZO, P4R and C100x, and OPPO's for its three. POCO and Tecno run no India store.

What is most likely to move. Several listings carry low-stock wording, including all three 6GB Note 17 colours and the NARZO pick on Flipkart ('Only few left'), so a colour can vanish or jump in price inside a day. Flipkart prices in this class also swing by thousands of rupees within days: the P4R 6GB/128GB was ₹25,999 there on 6 October, ₹21,999 on 17 October and ₹25,999 again on 19 October, and the M8 Power went from ₹22,999 to ₹24,999 between the last two checks.

Frequently asked

Which phone has an 8000mAh battery in India?

Four we rank under ₹30,000 as of 19 October 2026: the Redmi Note 17 5G, POCO M8 Power 5G, realme NARZO 100X 5G and OnePlus N6. The realme P4R 5G, Tecno Pova 8 5G and 4G-only realme C100x also list 8,000mAh under ₹30,000, and OPPO's F35 5G, F35 Pro 5G and K14 Plus 5G do above it.

What is the cheapest 8000mAh phone in India?

The realme C100x at ₹17,999 for 4GB/64GB on Flipkart, Amazon.in and realme's store, checked 19 October 2026, but it is 4G only. The cheapest 5G one is the realme NARZO 100X 5G 4GB/128GB at ₹19,775 on Flipkart, ₹424 below the cheapest 4GB/128GB of its twin, the realme P4R 5G (₹20,199 on Amazon.in).

Is an 8000mAh battery phone heavy?

Yes. realme states about 224 g for the NARZO 100X 5G, OnePlus 224 g for the N6 and Xiaomi 225 g for the Redmi Note 17 5G, so the three makers that publish a weight land within a gram of each other. POCO publishes no weight for the M8 Power 5G; Amazon.in's listing gives 220 g.

Do 8000mAh phones support fast charging?

All four picks charge at 45W. That is modest for the capacity: the 9,000mAh Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G charges at 67W, the 10,000mAh Pro Max at 100W and OPPO's 8,000mAh F35 5G at 80W.

Is there a phone with a battery bigger than 8000mAh in India?

Yes. Flipkart lists the POCO X8 5G at 9000 mAh for ₹29,999 (6GB/128GB) on 19 October 2026, just under ₹30,000. Xiaomi's India spec pages list the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G at 9000mAh (typ) and the Pro Max 5G at 10000mAh (typ), both above that.

Does the iQOO Z11 have a 9,020mAh battery?

No. iQOO's own India page states 7050 mAh typical and 6850 mAh rated with 44W FlashCharge, and every in-stock Z11 listing we found on Flipkart shows 7050 mAh. The 9,020mAh figure on comparison pages is wrong by 1,970mAh, so the Z11 is not in this guide.

Why do makers list two different battery numbers?

Typical is the average capacity of cells coming off the line and rated is the conservative floor. realme and OnePlus both publish 8000mAh typical against 7780mAh rated, a gap of 220mAh; Xiaomi's Redmi Note 17 5G page lists only '8000mAh (typ)', and POCO has no India spec page at all.

Is the realme NARZO 100X 5G the same phone as the realme P4R 5G?

realme's two India spec pages carry the same figures on every row we compared, down to the 7780mAh rated cell, the Dimensity 6300, the 17.30 cm HD+ LCD and the 224 g weight. Buy whichever is cheaper in your tier: on 19 October 2026 that was the NARZO at both 4GB/128GB (₹19,775 on Flipkart against ₹20,199 for the P4R on Amazon.in) and 6GB/128GB (₹22,127 against ₹23,820).
