What ₹80,000 buys in 2026: RTX 3050 and RTX 2050, not RTX 4050

This is an RTX 3050 budget. Most of the in-stock laptops at or under ₹80,000 use the 4GB RTX 3050. Two of our picks carry the 6GB version (one of them with a question mark, covered below), one uses the RTX 3050A, and one steps down to an RTX 2050. No RTX 4050, RTX 4060 or RTX 5050 laptop was available online at or under ₹80,000 on the day we checked.

The processors are better news. The picks run Intel Core i5-12450H to Core i7-13620H, or AMD Ryzen 7 chips from the 7435HS to the 2026 Ryzen 7 170, all with 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 15.6-inch screen. Where the listing states it, the refresh rate is 144Hz.

Same laptop, ₹32,000 apart: check more than one store

On 29 September the ASUS TUF A15 FA506NCG-HN200WS (Ryzen 7 7445HS, RTX 3050 4GB, with Office 2024) cost ₹70,990 at Reliance Digital. On Amazon.in the same model number was listed at ₹1,03,000. That is a ₹32,010 gap for an identical laptop, on the same day.

At this budget, the store you open moves the price more than the badge on the lid.

It is not a one-off. An HP Victus with an RTX 4050 and a Core i5-13420H was ₹1,15,990 on Amazon.in, while Reliance Digital listed RTX 4050 Victus models with the same processor from ₹87,490. Lenovo LOQ laptops with an RTX 3050 6GB ran ₹98,490 to ₹1,04,990 on Amazon.in against ₹88,490 for a LOQ 15IAX9 at Reliance Digital. The gap does not always favour the same store: the Acer ALG in our top slot is ₹79,990 on Amazon.in and ₹85,999 on Acer's own India store.

Two more traps. Flipkart's search-results pages showed several Acer laptops cheaper than their own product pages, so trust only the price on the product page. And three of our Flipkart picks were sold by the same seller, SVPeripherals; when a seller cannot deliver to your pincode, the buy box can switch to another seller at a much higher price. Check the seller name and the final price before you pay.

Acer ALG AL15G-53 (i7-13620H, RTX 3050 6GB): best overall

The Acer ALG AL15G-53 at ₹79,990 on Amazon.in (checked 29 September 2026) is the best gaming laptop under ₹80,000 for most buyers, because it is the only in-budget model we found with both a 6GB RTX 3050 and a Core i7.

The configuration is a Core i7-13620H, the RTX 3050 with 6GB of video memory, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 15.6-inch Full HD 144Hz display, in a metal body that Acer lists at 1.99 kg. That is lighter than the ASUS and HP picks, which are listed at 2.29 to 2.30 kg. On Amazon.in it carries 3.8 stars from 108 ratings.

The catch is the price itself. ₹79,990 is ₹10 under the cap, and Acer's own store lists the same 16GB configuration at ₹85,999, so the Amazon.in price is the deal and it may not hold. Neither the Amazon.in listing nor Acer's store listing title states the GPU wattage. Amazon.in also sells a cheaper ALG with a Core 5 210H at ₹79,800 to ₹79,900, but that one has the 4GB RTX 3050 and only a handful of ratings; the i7 and 6GB model is the one to buy.

ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA566NCR (RTX 3050 4GB, 75 W): best value

The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA566NCR at ₹64,990 on Flipkart (checked 29 September 2026) is the value pick: a 75 W RTX 3050 4GB, an eight-core Ryzen 7 7435HS and a 144Hz screen for roughly ₹15,000 under the budget.

Flipkart lists the MRP at ₹86,990, so this is a deep discount on a laptop with 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 15.6-inch Full HD panel. It weighs 2.30 kg. Flipkart lists the GPU at 75 W, against 45 W for the RTX 2050 in the MSI pick; HP and Acer do not publish a figure on their listings.

What you give up: the 4GB version of the RTX 3050, and a one-year carry-in warranty rather than onsite service. The seller on 29 September was SVPeripherals with delivery shown for 7 October; if your pincode gets a different seller, the price may not match.

ASUS TUF Gaming A15 2026 FA506NCQ (Ryzen 7 170, RTX 3050 4GB): newest chip

The 2026 ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NCQ-HN006W is ₹70,990 on Flipkart (checked 29 September 2026, marked as a Big Billion Days price), and it is the newest platform in this guide.

It pairs AMD's Ryzen 7 170 (eight cores, up to 4.75 GHz) with a 4GB RTX 3050, 16GB of DDR5 memory, a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD and a 15.6-inch Full HD 144Hz panel rated at 250 nits. The battery is 48Wh and the laptop weighs 2.3 kg. It comes with one year of onsite service, which beats the carry-in cover on the older A15 above.

Two cautions. The sale tag means ₹70,990 may not survive the festival; Flipkart's MRP is ₹84,990. And 250 nits is dim for a bright room. Reliance Digital lists a sibling, the FA506NCQ-HN007WS, at ₹72,990, but it showed as unavailable online when we checked.

HP Victus 15-fb3125AX (Ryzen 7 7445HS, RTX 3050): best HP

The HP Victus 15-fb3125AX is ₹79,495 at Reliance Digital (checked 29 September 2026), and it is the HP to buy at this budget if its GPU memory checks out.

Reliance Digital's product title lists a Ryzen 7 7445HS, a 6GB RTX 3050, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB PCIe Gen4 SSD, with Office Home 2024 and a year of Microsoft 365 Basic bundled. It weighs 2.29 kg and ships with a 120 W adapter. The MRP is ₹82,502, so the discount is small, but the seller is Reliance Digital itself rather than a marketplace third party.

The question mark: the same Reliance Digital listing's web address says 4GB, and at least one price-comparison site lists this model with a 4GB RTX 3050. Ask the store to confirm the video memory before you pay. If it turns out to be 4GB, the ASUS TUF A15 FA566NCR does the same job for ₹14,505 less. The Reliance Digital page lists neither the GPU wattage nor the refresh rate.

HP Victus 15-fa2192TX (i5-13420H, RTX 3050A 4GB): Intel pick

The HP Victus 15-fa2192TX at ₹74,995 at Reliance Digital (checked 29 September 2026) is the pick for buyers who want an Intel chip, a big-box retailer and Office in the box for under ₹75,000.

It has an eight-core Core i5-13420H, 16GB of RAM that Reliance Digital says expands to 32GB, a 512GB SSD, a 15.6-inch Full HD screen, a 2.29 kg chassis and Office Home 2024 with a year of Microsoft 365 Basic. The MRP is ₹83,499.

Read the GPU line carefully. Reliance Digital lists it as an RTX 3050A 4GB, a separate variant from the plain RTX 3050, and states no wattage for it. Do not assume it performs like the 75 W RTX 3050 in the ASUS TUF A15, which also costs ₹10,005 less.

MSI Thin 15 B12UCX (RTX 2050 4GB, 45 W): two-year warranty pick

The MSI Thin 15 B12UCX-2471IN is ₹70,990 on Flipkart (checked 29 September 2026), and it is the one to pick if a two-year onsite warranty matters more to you than GPU power.

It runs a Core i5-12450H with an RTX 2050 4GB at 45 W, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 15.6-inch 144Hz screen. Flipkart lists a two-year onsite warranty, the longest cover among our picks. The MRP is also ₹70,990, so there is no discount here. Flipkart's banner offers ₹67,440 with a qualifying bank card, which is a conditional offer, not the price you pay by default. An 8GB version, the B12UCX-1696IN, is listed higher at ₹67,990 and shows as out of stock, so the 16GB model is the one to buy anyway.

Be clear about the trade. The RTX 2050 sits below the RTX 3050 in NVIDIA's range, and at 45 W this is the lowest GPU power in the guide. The ASUS TUF A15 FA566NCR costs ₹6,000 less and has a 75 W RTX 3050, so the MSI only makes sense for the warranty.

Can you get an RTX 4050 or RTX 4060 laptop under ₹80,000?

No. The cheapest RTX 4050 laptop we found was the HP Victus 15-FA2701TX (Core i5-13420H, RTX 4050 6GB) at ₹87,490 at Reliance Digital, and it was in stock when we checked. The next cheapest, the HP Victus 15-fa2429TX (Core 5 210H), was listed at ₹90,490 on Reliance Digital. Both of those are product-page prices at Reliance Digital. Flipkart's listing pages showed RTX 4050 machines from about ₹93,000, but those are search-page figures, and the whole point of this guide is that they often do not hold once you open the product. The cheapest RTX 5050 laptop, an Acer Nitro V15, was ₹97,490 at Reliance Digital.

RTX 4060 is further out still. Amazon.in's own results page for "gaming laptop under 80000 rtx 4060" did not show a single RTX 4060 laptop on its first page; it showed RTX 3050 Acers, thin-and-light office laptops and a MacBook Neo.

Best gaming laptop under ₹80000 with an i7 processor

Only one qualifies: the Acer ALG AL15G-53 with the Core i7-13620H at ₹79,990 on Amazon.in. The nearest miss was an ASUS FX577ZC-HN192WS (Core i7-12700H, RTX 3050) at ₹80,901 on Flipkart, ₹901 over. MSI's Thin 15 B13UC-124IN pairs the same i7-13620H with a 4GB RTX 3050 but costs ₹91,800 on Amazon.in.

If the i7 label matters because you stream or edit video as well as play, the AMD picks deserve a look. The Ryzen 7 7435HS in the TUF A15 FA566NCR and the Ryzen 7 170 in the 2026 A15 are both eight-core chips according to their Flipkart listings, and both laptops cost less than the Acer.

ASUS, HP, Lenovo and Acer: where each brand's gaming range starts

• ASUS: the widest choice under ₹80,000. TUF A15 models start at ₹64,990 on Flipkart. An older TUF A15 FA506NC with a Ryzen 5 7535HS and RTX 3050 4GB was even cheaper, at ₹57,990 on Flipkart.
• HP: Victus models start at ₹74,995 (RTX 3050A) at Reliance Digital. An RTX 2050 Victus 15-fa1226TX with 8GB of RAM was ₹72,718 on Flipkart but not deliverable to every pincode. The Victus 15-fa2197TX with an RTX 3050 6GB was ₹81,495, just over.
• Lenovo: no LOQ fits. The cheapest in stock was the LOQ 15IAX9 (Core i5-12450HX, RTX 3050 6GB) at ₹88,490 at Reliance Digital. A Flipkart listing at ₹77,990 was marked unavailable.
• Acer: the ALG i7 at ₹79,990 on Amazon.in is the only Acer we would buy here. The Core 5 210H ALG with a 4GB RTX 3050 was ₹82,990 at Reliance Digital, and the Nitro V with RTX 3050 started at ₹85,999 on Flipkart.
• Dell and MSI: Dell's G15 5530 (Core i5-13450HX, RTX 3050 6GB) was ₹85,490 at Reliance Digital. The only in-budget MSI we found is the RTX 2050 Thin 15; the RTX 3050 6GB Thin 15 B13UDX was ₹87,990 on Amazon.in.

What to check before buying: GPU variant, wattage (TGP), RAM and display

The GPU variant. Look for "4GB", "6GB" or "3050A" in the listing title. Most laptops at this price have the 4GB RTX 3050. More video memory gives newer games more room for high-resolution textures, which is why the 6GB Acer leads this list.

The wattage. The same GPU name runs at different power limits in different laptops. Listings in this guide range from 45 W for the RTX 2050 in the MSI to 75 W for the RTX 3050 in the TUF A15, and Flipkart lists an ASUS TUF F15 FX507ZC4 at 95 W, though its page would not show a price when we re-checked. HP and Acer do not print a wattage on these listings, so ask or check the manufacturer's spec sheet.

RAM and display. All six picks ship with 16GB. Skip 8GB versions unless you plan to upgrade. Check the refresh rate (144Hz where listed) and the brightness; the 2026 TUF A15 is rated at 250 nits.

Warranty and seller. Cover ranges from one year carry-in (TUF A15 FA566NCR) to two years onsite (MSI Thin 15). On Flipkart, confirm who the seller is for your pincode before paying.

Buy during the festive sales, or wait?

Flipkart tagged the 2026 TUF A15 at ₹70,990 (MRP ₹84,990) and an MSI Cyborg 15 with RTX 4050 at ₹1,02,990 as Big Billion Days prices, and Reliance Digital labels its HP Victus prices as limited-time offers. If one of these picks fits your budget now, the sale price is a reasonable time to buy, because it may rise afterwards.

Waiting for an RTX 4050 to fall under ₹80,000 is a different bet. On 29 September the cheapest RTX 4050 was ₹87,490 (unavailable online) and the next listing was ₹90,490, so it would take a cut of more than ₹10,000. If you can stretch to about ₹90,000, that is the real next step up. If you cannot, the Acer ALG at ₹79,990 is the strongest laptop inside the budget today, and the ASUS TUF A15 FA566NCR at ₹64,990 is the one that leaves money for a headset and a game or two.
