9020mAh BlueVolt battery: the standout spec explained

The China iQOO Z11 ships with a 9,020mAh BlueVolt battery and 90W wired charging, a genuinely large cell for a phone this size, and it's the number that's driven most of the excitement around this launch. A smaller sibling, the iQOO Z11x, gets a 7,050mAh pack instead, so iQOO clearly treats battery size as a deliberate differentiator across this family, not an afterthought.

The number everyone's fixated on, 9,020mAh, might not even be the number your Z11 ships with.

Here's the catch. The confirmed India design swaps the camera module and adds a curved display, changes that typically come with a different internal layout. Recent India-specific rumours put the battery for this market at 7,000mAh to 8,000mAh, not the full 9,020mAh cell from China. Nothing here is confirmed either way.
